STUDENT SUPPLIES FOR SEPTEMBER 2009
 

  • Please find below the suggested school supplies for September 2009. 

  • All personal items should be clearly labelled with students’ names. 

  •  Please reuse last year’s supplies and if possible, please donate a box of Kleenex to your child’s classroom. 

  • Students are expected to replenish supplies throughout the year! 

FOR ALL STUDENTS:

  • a pair of indoor shoes suitable for physical education (non-marking soles) to leave at school

  • 1 pair of outdoor shoes or boots

  • gym clothing for grades 5-8

JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN / KINDERGARTEN Classes
 (Please label all items with student's name.)

  • Indoor Velcro Running Shoes
  • Lunch Bag
  • Backpack
  • Change of clothes (seasonal) in plastic bag

 

PRIMARY Classes  (Grades 1, 2, 3): 
(Please label all items with student's name.)

  • 1 zippered or Velcro closing pencil case

  •  6 soft lead pencils replenish as needed

  •  1 box pencil crayons (no markers please)

  •  1 pencil eraser

  •  1 box crayons

  •  1 pair blunt-nose scissors

  •  1 bottle of white glue or glue stick

  •  1 30 cm. ruler

  •  1 personal pencil sharpener with reservoir - (not required for Mrs. Oxford's class)
    Mrs. Kobylka's Grade 3 students will need 1 highlighter and 8 duotangs including 2 each of red, blue, green and yellow.
    No Binders Please!

JUNIOR CLASSES (Grade 4, 5, & 6)
(Please label all items with student's name)

  • pencil crayons (no markers please)
  • lead pencils (replenish as needed)
  • 1 pair of scissors
  • 1 30cm ruler with mm
  • 1 pkg. each lined 3-hole paper
  • 1 pkg. each graph 3-hole paper
  • highlighters (3 colours)
  • pens (2 blue, 2 black, 2 red)
  • 1 pencil sharpener (with reservoir)
  • calculator
  • erasers (replenish as needed)
  • 1 bottle of white glue
  • 1 pencil case
  • 1 glue stick

Mrs. Bros’s students:

  • 10 duotangs – 2 each of red, blue, yellow, green and black

  • protractor only

  • (No binders please)

Mrs. Barrie-Miller’s students: 

  • 8 duotangs – including red, blue, yellow and green

  • protractor only

  • (No binders please)

 Mrs. Kobylka’s students:

  • 8 duotangs – including 2 red, 2 blue, 2 yellow & 2 green

  • no lined 3-hole paper

  • no graph 3-hole paper

  • no pens

  • no binders

  • no geometry set
INTERMEDIATE Classes ( Grade 7 & 8)
 (Please label all items with student's name.)
  • pens: red, blue, black  - replenish as needed
  • 1 eraser
  • soft lead pencils – as required
  • 2 pkg. Subject dividers
  • glue sticks
  • 1 pkg. Reinforcements
  • 1 pencil case
  • 1 pair semi-point scissors
  • 1  binder for History and Geography
  • 1 binder for Science and Math
  • 1 - 3 ring binder to contain language
  • highlighters (three colours)
  • lined, blank and graph 3-hole punch paper
  • 1- 30 cm. ruler with millimetres
  • calculator – must have % and square root
  • pencil crayons (no markers please)
