FIRE PREVENTION WEEK
The fire department visited Zone during Fire Prevention Week October 7-13,
2007. During their visit, Fire Escape Safety Plans were distributed to
each student to take home. Each student completed the Fire Escape Plan at
home and returned it to their homeroom teacher. The Fire Department
purchased two bicycles for a draw. The homeroom teacher who had the most
plans returned also received a book bag, fire department shirt and flashlight.

ZONE'S CHARMERS
A new program at Zone Township Central School this year is recognizing students' good behaviour. When teachers see the students doing "something good at school or for another student" they are being recognized as a CHARMER. The charms are presented to the students and they proudly display them on their backpacks.
