2009
On Wednesday, April 22nd,
an assembly was held in the gymnasium for all students in preparation for the
Heart and Stroke Jump Rope and Hoops for Heart. Jump Rope and Hoops for Heart
were held this year on
Friday, May 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. .
Students
collected their pledges in the collection envelopes provided and returned their
pledges by May 7, 2009. This year Zone students raised a total of :
$4,077.02

2008
Zone Township Central School participated
in the Heart and Stroke Jump Rope and Hoops for Heart on May 1, 2008 and May 2, 2008.
Students collected their pledges in the collection envelopes provided and returned
their pledges by May 2, 2008. This year Zone students raised a total of :
$5,826.12.
This was the 5th year in a row
that Zone students have participated in Jump Rope and Hoops for Heart.
Jump Rope for Heart gets our kids physically active and raises vital funds for
the Heart and Stroke Foundation to reduce the devastating effects of heart
disease and stroke. Plus, by participating, Zone School has a chance to
earn valuable resources for their school and students.
